Takaonna
Taka-onna (Jepang: 高女) yang berarti Wanita Jangkung adalah hantu atau yokai perempuan yang muncul dalam cerita rakyat Jepang.[1] Ia memiliki kemampuan khusus untuk meregangkan bagian leher atau dadanya ke atas, serta mengenakan riasan khas zaman dulu. Taka-onna menurut salah satu sumber, memiliki keterkaitan dengan tempat kesenangan seperti rumah bordil.[2] Ia menghantui penghuni rumah bordil yang berada di lantai atas atau tempat orang-orang berkelas dengan cara menghampiri mereka lewat bilik atau jendela yang terbuka. Ia memiliki rupa yang jelek, rambut hitam yang panjang dan rasa cemburu.[1]
