Tank jelajah (Tank kavaleri atau Tank cepat) adalah sebuah tipe tank yang bertugas untuk membuka serangan pasukan darat dan melumpuhkan kendaraan tempur lapis baja musuh. Sehingga pada umumnya tank jelajah memiliki lapisan baja yang tidak terlalu tebal tetapi mampu bergerak dengan lincah.
