Telekomando adalah perintah yang dikirim untuk mengontrol sistem atau sistem tidak terhubung langsung jarak jauh (misalnya melalui kabel) ke tempat dari mana telekomando tersebut dikirim. Kata ini berasal dari tele = jarak jauh (Yunani), dan command = perintah = memercayakan / order (Latin).

Sistem yang membutuhkan pengukuran jarak jauh dan pelaporan informasi yang menarik bagi desainer sistem atau operator yang membutuhkan mitra dari telekomando, telemetri. Telekomando dapat dilakukan secara real time atau tidak tergantung pada keadaan (di ruang angkasa, keterlambatan), seperti kasus Marsokhod.
