Leptobarbus hosii, Sayan, juga disebut secara lokal sebagai Temopong, adalah spesies ikan bersirip kipas dalam genus Leptobarbus dari habitat air tawar di Kalimantan utara di Asia Tenggara. Namun, populasi yang sebelumnya tidak diketahui telah tercatat di Kalimantan Barat .[2]

Dinamakan untuk menghormati Charles Hose (1863–1929), administrator kolonial Inggris di Kalimantan, ahli zoologi dan etnolog, yang mengumpulkan spesimen tipe.[3]

Keterangan

Sedikit yang diketahui mengenai spesies ini kecuali penampilannya.[4] Siripnya berwarna merah hingga merah marun, sedangkan di dekat pelat insang dan di atas sirip perut terdapat bercak vertikal berwarna hitam. Ia tidak memiliki gurat sisi hitam di sepanjang tubuhnya, tidak seperti L. melanotaenia dan L. rubripinna .

Memaksimalkan pada 8,5 cm,[5] mungkin merupakan anggota terkecil dari genusnya.
