Tencent Video (Hanzi: 腾讯视频; Pinyin: Téngxùn Shìpín, dikenal sebagai WeTV di luar Tiongkok) adalah layanan pengaliran video sesuai permintaan berlangganan over-the-top asal Tiongkok yang dimiliki oleh Tencent.

Sejarah

Pada bulan Maret 2011, Tencent Video resmi diluncurkan dengan domain independen.[1] Tencent Video mendukung Video sesuai permintaan dan siaran televisi. Pada Juli 2017 mulai menampilkan konten video di pembuat televisi terbesar di Tiongkok, TCL.[2]

Pada tahun 2019, Tencent Video resmi melebarkan sayap secara internasional dengan meluncurkan WeTV, platform streaming video yang pertama kali meluncur di Thailand.[3]

Penggunaan

Pada bulan Oktober 2017, pendapatan Tencent Video mencapai CNY 65,2 miliar (US$9,87 miliar). Pada bulan September 2017, Tencent Video adalah salah satu dari delapan aplikasi Tiongkok yang masuk dalam 30 aplikasi seluler teratas dengan pendapatan terbesar di App Store dan Google Play. Pada bulan Oktober 2017, Tencent Video berada di peringkat 15 aplikasi teratas dengan pendapatan bulanan konsolidasi global terbesar, dan Tencent Video menduduki peringkat teratas dalam pendapatan aplikasi hiburan iOS di Tiongkok pada tahun 2017.[4]
