Thoth (diucapkan / θoʊθ / atau / toʊt /) adalah salah satu dewa paling penting di peradaban Mesir Kuno. Ia dianggap sebagai dewa penulisan, dewa kebajikan, dewa pembawa mukjizat, dan dewa bulan.[1] Dalam seni, ia sering digambarkan sebagai orang dengan kepala sebuah ibis atau babon. Mitra femininnya adalah Seshat.[2] Kuil utama untuk Thoth terletak di kota Khmun,[3] yang kemudian diubah namanya menjadi Hermopolis Magna semasa era Greco-Roman.[4] Kuil-kuil lain untuknya juga dibangun di kota Abydos, Hesert, Urit, Per-Ab, Rekhui, Ta-ur, Sep, Hat, Pselket, Talmsis, Antcha-Mutet, Bah, Amen-heri-ab, and Ta-kens.[5]
