Toechima tenax, yang dikenal sebagai brush teak, adalah pohon hutan hujan yang ditemukan di Australia bagian timur. Epitet spesifik tenax kemungkinan merujuk pada kayunya yang keras.
Pohon ini tumbuh di hutan hujan yang lebih kering, mulai dari Sungai Richmond, New South Wales di selatan hingga Bundaberg di Queensland di utara. Pohon ini jarang ditemukan di New South Wales.
Merupakan pohon kecil dengan kanopi berwarna hijau cerah, tingginya mencapai 18 meter dan diameter batang 30 cm. Batangnya tidak beraturan, berwarna abu-abu dan halus, serta dasar pohon biasanya memiliki banir.[1]
