Dalam mitologi Romawi, Vulkanus (bahasa Latin: Vulcanus) adalah dewa api yang menguntungkan dan api yang merintangi,[4] termasuk api dari gunung berapi. Vulkanus biasanya dilukiskan dengan kilat.[5] Dia dikenal sebagai Sethklans dalam mitologi Etruska. Dia dipuja dalam festival tahunan pada tanggal 23 Agustus yang disebut Volkanalia. Menurut mitologi, Vulkanus merupakan pembuat senjata, permata, zirah, dan petir Yupiter. Bengkelnya terletak di bawah Gunung Etna di Sisilia. Vulkanus diidentikkan dengan dewa api dan pandai besi Yunani Kuno, Hefaistos.
