Allocoris ist eine Gattung der Junkerlippfische (Julidinae) mit vier Arten, die im tropischen Indopazifik und im Roten Meer vorkommt.

Merkmale

Die Arten der Gattung Allocoris haben einen langgestreckten Körper, dessen maximale Höhe etwa der Länge des Kopfes entspricht. Das Maul reicht nicht bis hinter die Augen. Der Kopf und die Basis der Flossen sind unbeschuppt, der Nacken und die Schwanzflossenbasis sind mit kleinen Schuppen besetzt.[1][2]
