André Georges (* 20. September 1953 in Evolène) ist ein Schweizer Alpinist.

Er hat neun der 14 Achttausender bezwungen, als ersten 1988 den Mount Everest zusammen mit dem Franzosen Jean-Marc Boivin. Dabei wurde irrtümlich sein Tod im Himalaya gemeldet.[1]

André Georges ist gelernter Elektriker und wurde 1975 Bergführer.[2] Im Jahr 1976 führte er die erste Winterbesteigung der Nordwand der Dent Blanche durch.[2] Im Winter 1985 erreichte er zusammen mit Erhard Loretan in 18 Tagen 41 Gipfel in den Walliser Alpen, davon 33 Viertausender.

In seinem Ruhestand betätigt sich Georges auch als Kunstmaler.[3]
