Anna Coa

Anna Coa (* 12. Dezember 1991 in Bad Ischl, Oberösterreich als Anna Katharina Seck) ist eine österreichische Singer-Songwriterin. Sie verbindet in ihren Liedern Dialekt-Elemente mit Austropop.

Leben und Werdegang

Anna Coa, mit bürgerlichem Namen Anna Katharina Seck, wurde am 12. Dezember 1991 in Bad Ischl im Salzkammergut geboren und wuchs in Ebensee am Traunsee auf.

Im Alter von sieben Jahren begann sie Gitarre zu spielen. Mit etwa 16 Jahren zog Anna Coa nach Bad Ischl, um eine Ausbildung zur Einzelhandelskauffrau zu absolvieren. Parallel dazu sammelte sie Bühnenerfahrungen mit Bands wie „The Lovenuts“ sowie „The Teadreamers“ und ab 2015 mit der Welser Austropop-Band „Hoamspü“.

Im Jahr 2020 gründete sie gemeinsam mit ihrem Ehemann Leyti Seck (Percussion) die Band „Anna Coa“.

Heute (2025) lebt sie mit ihrer Familie in Goldegg im Pongau.

Musikalischer Stil und Themen

Anna Coa bezeichnet ihre Musik als moderner Austropop mit alpenländischen Einflüssen. Ihre Lieder sind geprägt von Dialekt, Heimatverbundenheit, emotionalen Geschichten sowie gesellschaftskritischen Themen.
