Lage

Balesta liegt am Flüsschen Bernesse, an der südlichen Gemeindegrenze verläuft die Seygouade. Beides sind Zuflüsse der Save.

Nachbargemeinden sind: Nizan-Gesse, Sarrecave, Larroque, Cazaril-Tambourès, Boudrac und Bazordan im Département Hautes-Pyrénées.
