Die byzantinische Offiziersfamilie Batatzes (oder Vatatzes) stellte im 13. Jahrhundert drei oströmische Kaiser, anfangs in Nikaia, später in Konstantinopel: Johannes III. (1222–1254), Theodor II. (1254–1258) und Johannes IV. (1258–1261). Da Theodor II. (auch) den Familiennamen seiner Mutter trug, Laskaris, werden die jüngeren Generationen der Batatzes üblicherweise unter dem Namen Laskaris geführt.
