Birgit Frauscher ist eine österreichische Neurologin. Sie ist Professorin für Neurologie und Direktorin des Epilepsy Lab im Department of Neurology an der Duke University. Ihr Forschungsgebiet ist die Epilepsie.

Leben

Birgit Frauscher studierte an der Universität Innsbruck, wo sie 2001 zum Dr. med. promoviert wurde. 2011 wurde sie habilitiert. Von 2013 bis 2015 hatte sie eine Gastprofessur (Schroedinger fellowship) am Montreal Neurological Institute der McGill University in Montreal.
