Der Brantas ist der längste Fluss von Jawa Timur. Er entspringt am Vulkanmassiv Arjuno-Welirang, fließt spiralförmig um dieses herum und mündet nach 320 km mit den Mündungsarmen Kalimas und Porong in die Balisee.[1]
