Catambuco ist ein Corregimiento der Gemeinde (municipio) Pasto im Departamento de Nariño in Kolumbien. Es liegt südlich bis südöstlich der Stadt Pasto, umfasst ländliche Flächen am Río Bobo und reicht bis zum Río-Bobo-Stausee. Die Cabecera („Hauptort“) ist Catambuco Centro.

Das Corregimiento wurde durch den Acuerdo N.º 11 des Concejo Municipal de Pasto vom 7. September 1965 geschaffen, sanktioniert und veröffentlicht am 14. September 1965.[2]

Für das Corregimiento Catambuco liegt in den Veröffentlichungen des Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística (DANE) Censo Nacional de Población y Vivienda 2018 keine separate Einwohnerzahl vor. Das Centro poblado des Corregimientos, Catambuco Centro, ist im DANE-Verzeichnis (DIVIPOLA) erfasst, detaillierte Bevölkerungszahlen werden jedoch nur auf Antrag oder in nicht frei zugänglichen CNPV-Tabellen bereitgestellt.[3]

Indigenes Territorium

Innerhalb des Corregimientos befindet sich das Resguardo Indígena de Catambuco. Es wurde 2024 durch den Acuerdo 406 de 2024 der Agencia Nacional de Tierras (ANT) bestätigt.[4]
