Cycloes ist eine Gattung der Krabben mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie kommen von der Gezeitenzone (subtidal) bis zum Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 15 und 110 m im gesamten Indopazifik vor.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax von Cycloes wird bis zu 38 mm lang. Er ist nahezu rund und mit kleinen Zähnen im seitlichen Winkel besetzt. Die Stirn ist so breit wie die Augenhöhle, mit zwei Zähnen besetzt und leicht hervorstehend. Der Oberrand des Carpus der Scherenbeine ist gezahnt, der vordere Winkel ist auf der Innenseite gekörnt. Der Oberrand der Hand hat einen zweiten und dritten Zahn, ist innenseitig granuliert, der Finger (Dactylus) hat ein gerändeltes Band auf der Innenseite mit 15 Leisten.[2]
