Deklaration (lat. declaratio „Kundmachung“, „Offenbarung“) bezeichnet:

- Inhalts- oder Wertangabe eines Handels- oder Versandguts, zum Beispiel zum Zweck der Verzollung, siehe Zoll (Abgabe)
- Zutatenliste bei Lebensmitteln gemäß der Lebensmittel-Kennzeichnungsverordnung (offizieller Begriff: Verzeichnis der Zutaten)
- eine politische Deklaration (= Willens- oder Absichtserklärung), zum Beispiel
- im Völkerrecht die Rechtshandlung eines Völkerrechtsobjekts, die der Völkerrechtsgemeinschaft eine bestimmte Tatsache oder Haltung zur Kenntnis bringen soll,
- zum Beispiel eine Kriegserklärung
- Deklaration (Programmierung), in Programmiersprachen zum Einführen von Variablen und Funktionen/Prozeduren
- in XML-Dokumenten die XML-Deklaration und die Dokumenttyp-Deklaration
- in der Linguistik bzw. Pragmatik eine Klasse von Sprechakten, in denen eine neue Wirklichkeit geschaffen wird, falls die dazu nötigen Bedingungen erfüllt sind, siehe Deklarativa
