Dermot Murphy

Dermot Murphy (* in Wexford) ist ein irischer Schauspieler.

Leben und Karriere

Murphy wurde in Wexford geboren. Sein Debüt gab er 2012 in dem Kurzfilm No Messages. Anschließend bekam er eine Rolle in Black Ice.[1] Im selben Jahr trat er in der Serie Raw auf. Außerdem spielte er 2015 in Clean Break mit. 2018 wurde er für den Film Bohemian Rhapsody gecastet. Bekanntheit erlangte er 2021 durch seine Hauptrolle in Holy Island.[2]

Neben im Film und Fernsehen ist er quch im Theater aktiv und war in den Stücken Lay me Down Softly, Lord of Love, The Cavalcaders und A Handful of Stars.[3]
