Digital Foundry ist ein YouTube-Kanal und eine angeschlossene Computerspielewebsite rund um die technische Analyse von Computerspielen mit besonderem Fokus auf Computergrafik.

Konzept

Betrieben wird die Videoproduktion von einem fünfköpfigen Team aus Großbritannien und Deutschland. Untersucht werden sowohl moderne Titel als auch Retrospiele. Finanziert wird die Redaktion durch YouTube-Werbung und Patreon-Abonnenten.[1]

Geschichte

Gegründet wurde Digital Foundry 2004 von Richard Leadbetter und Gary Harrod. 2007 wurden Texte zu den Videos bei Eurogamer veröffentlicht.[1] 2024 wurde Eurogamer mitsamt Digital Foundry an IGN veräußert.[2] Im Folgejahr erklärte Digital Foundry, dass sie künftig unabhängig auftreten und kauften ihr Archiv zurück.[3][4]
