Dilatation (von lateinisch dilatare ‚verlängern, ausdehnen, vergrößern, erweitern‘) steht für:

  • die Veränderung des Volumens eines Körpers durch Änderung von Druck, Temperatur oder anderen Zustandsgrößen, siehe
  • die Messung Längenausdehnung infolge von Kraft oder Wärme wird mit Dilatometern vorgenommen
