Distolambrus ist eine Gattung der Krabben (Brachyura) aus der Familie Parthenopidae. Sie hat eine rezente und eine fossile Art.[1] Die rezente Art besiedelt die tiefe Gezeitenzone (subtidal), den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 5 und 550 m in der gemäßigten Klimazone des Nordostatlantiks einschließlich des Mittelmeers.[2] Die fossile Art wurde zuerst im Val di Chiana in der Fundstätte Poggi Gialli bei Sinalunga in der Toskana entdeckt.[3]

Systematik

Die rezente Art ist Distolambrus maltzami (Miers, 1881),[1] die fossile Distolambrus rasnus De Angeli, Garassino & Pasini in Baldanza, Bizzarri, De Angeli, Faminani, Garassino, Pasini & Pizzolato, 2017 †.[3]
