    • Earthset (englisch für „Erduntergang“) ist ein Foto der Erde, das von der NASA-Astronautin Christina Koch[1] am 6. April 2026 aus dem Orion-Raumschiff Integrity während des Mondflugs Artemis 2 aufgenommen wurde. Es ähnelt Earthrise, einem Bild, das die Besatzung von Apollo 8 im Jahr 1968 aufnahm, auf dem die Erde über den Horizont des Mondes aufgeht.[2][3] Koch nahm das Foto mit einer Nikon D5 auf.[4] Dieses und weitere Artemis-2-Bilder sind die ersten von Raumfahrern aus so großer Entfernung (etwa 400.000 Kilometer) aufgenommenen Erdfotografien seit der Apollo-17-Mision im Jahr 1972.

    Das Foto zeigt den Untergang der Erde hinter der kraterübersäten Mondoberfläche. Die Nachtseite der Erde ist im Dunkeln, während sonnenbeschienene Wolken über Australien und Ozeanien sichtbar sind. Im Vordergrund ist der Einschlagkrater Ohm sichtbar, der von terrassenförmigen Rändern und einem relativ flachen Boden gekennzeichnet ist.[4]
