Edwardsium ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit vier rezenten Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 10 und 275 m im tropischen Westatlantik und tropischen Ostpazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 20 mm lang, oval, etwa 1,4-mal so breit wie lang. Die Regionen sind deutlich. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit vier Zähnen bewehrt. Dritter bis fünfter Somit des Pleons sind durch deutliche Querrinnen abgegrenzt. Der sechste Somit ist länglich rechteckig.[2]
