The Electrical Experimenter (EE), deutsch „Der elektrische Experimentator“, war zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts eine US‑amerikanische Wissenschaftszeitschrift.

Geschichte

Sie erschien erstmals im Mai 1913 und wurde von Hugo Gernsback herausgegeben. Sie befasste sich mit verschiedenen Themen der Technik, insbesondere der Elektrotechnik und hierbei speziell die damals neu aufkommende Funktechnik. Gelegentlich, wie im Mai 1916, wurden auch Themen der Science-Fiction behandelt, wie beispielsweise Antigravitation (Bild).

Ab 1918 wurde als Untertitel Science and Invention („Wissenschaft und Erfindung“) ergänzt, bevor sich im Jahr 1920 der Titel der Zeitschrift in Science and Invention änderte.[1]
