Biografie

Tesh ist in London aufgewachsen. Sie hat in Cambridge und Chicago studiert und lebt in Großbritannien.[1]

Karriere

Tesh begann ihre Karriere mit der Veröffentlichung der Novellen Silver in the Wood und Drowned Country die 2019 und 2020 veröffentlicht wurden. Schon 2017 begann sie die Arbeit am Science-Fiction-Roman Die letzte Heldin.[2] Inspiration für ihren ersten Roman zog Tesh aus den Mass-Effect-Computerspielen, Tolkiens Silmarillion und Werken der Autorin Ursula K. Le Guin.[2] Im Jahr 2024 wurde der Roman veröffentlicht und mit dem Hugo Award for Best Novel ausgezeichnet.[3] Die Übersetzung ins Deutsche erfolgte durch Nina Lieke. 2025 folgte der Fantasy-Roman The Incandescent.
