Escheid liegt an der CR 308a, Nachbarorte sind Rambruch und Folscheid.

Allgemeines und Geschichte

Escheid wurde erstmals 896 urkundlich als Heckelescheid erwähnt. Im Mittelalter musste die Escheider Bevölkerung den Zehnten an die Trierer Reichsabtei St. Maximin entrichten.
