Als Fitte (Pl.: Fitten) oder Fytte bezeichnet man einen Abschnitt oder eine Sektion eines altgermanischen Versepos. Die Gliederung in Vortragsabschnitte ist gerade in der mündlichen Tradition wichtig, weshalb der Fachterminus der Fitte auch häufig mit Gesang oder Lied und seltener mit Kapitel in den allgemeinen Sprachgebrauch übersetzt wird.
