Lage des Kreises Gar (rosa) im Regierungsbezirk Ngari (gelb)

Gar (tibetisch: སྒར་རྫོང་, Umschrift nach Wylie: sgar rdzong, auch Gar Dzong, chinesisch 噶尔县, Pinyin Gá’ěr Xiàn) ist ein Kreis im Regierungsbezirk Ngari des Autonomen Gebiets Tibet der Volksrepublik China. Die Fläche beträgt 18.028 Quadratkilometer und die Einwohnerzahl 31.052 (Stand: Zensus 2020).[1] Sein Hauptort ist die Großgemeinde Sênggê Zangbo. Er liegt am Fluss Gar Tsangpo, einem Nebenfluss des Sênggê Zangbo (Indus).
