Gelephu (Dzongkha: དགེ་ལེགས་ཕུ་), auch Gelaphu und Geylegphug, ist mit 9858 Einwohnern[1] die viertgrößte Stadt des Himalaya-Staats Bhutan und liegt im Distrikt Sarpang im Süden des Landes an der indischen Grenze. Der Ort gilt als wichtiger Handels- und Transitknotenpunkt. Die Distrikthauptstadt Sarpang befindet sich 30 km westlich.

Hier soll Bhutans zweiter internationaler Flughafen entstehen, der Gelephu International Airport. Die Bauarbeiten haben im Juli 2025 mit vorbereitenden Erdarbeiten und der Landaufbereitung begonnen, wobei der Hauptbau der Landebahn und des Terminals im April 2026 folgen soll. Die Fertigstellung soll 2029 abgeschlossen sein.[2][3]
