IC 80 ist ein Galaxienpaar im Sternbild Walfisch am Südsternhimmel. Das Galaxienpaar, wobei die beiden elliptischen Galaxien auch als IC 80A und IC 80B klassifiziert sind, ist schätzungsweise 709 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt. In vielen Katalogen sind die Kategorisierungen der Objekte in dem Himmelsareal nicht einheitlich, da sich bei dieser Position eine Vielzahl an Galaxien befinden.

Das Objekt wurde am 31. August 1892 vom französischen Astronomen Stéphane Javelle entdeckt.[4]
