Ian Stringer (* 27. November 1946 in Windsor (Victoria); † 14. März 2004 in Elwood (Victoria)) war ein australischer Radrennfahrer.

Sportliche Laufbahn

Stringer war im Bahnradsport und im Straßenradsport aktiv. Von 1966 bis 1974 war er Berufsfahrer. 1968 gewann er eine Etappe in der Herald Sun Tour und wurde Zweiter der Gesamtwertung hinter Barry Waddell. Stringer bestritt auch Sechstagerennen. 1966 siegte er in den Sechstagerennen von Launceston und Melbourne mit John Perry, 1969 gewann er das Sechstagerennen von Melbourne mit Barry Waddell und 1971 war er erneut in Launceston mit Keith Oliver erfolgreich.
