Kandal (Khmer កណ្ដាល, Umschrift: Kândal, IPA: [kɑnɗal], Bedeutung: „Mitte“) ist eine Provinz in Kambodscha. Die Provinz umgibt die Landeshauptstadt Phnom Penh, die jedoch selbst nicht zur Provinz gehört. Die Provinzhauptstadt von Kandal heißt Ta Khmau („schwarzer alter Mann“).

Kandal hat 1.201.581 Einwohner (Stand: Zensus 2019). 2017 betrug die Einwohnerzahl 1.483.800.[2]
