Ketamia ist eine Gattung der Krabben mit sechs Arten.[1] Sie kommen in der unteren Gezeitenzone (subtidal) bis zum Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 15 und 440 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik vor.[2]

Merkmale

Ketamia wird bis zu 10 mm lang. Die Stirn ist dreieckig und weist einen V-förmigen mittigen Einschnitt auf. Sie überragt den äußeren Augenzahn (Exorbitalzahn) nicht. Die Augenhöhlen sind tief, ihr oberer und unterer Rand sind gut definiert. Der Hinterleib besteht bei Weibchen aus dem Pleon mit sechs Somiten und dem Telson.[2]
