Kinäde (altgriechisch κίναιδος kínaidos, latinisiert cinaedus) bezeichnet ursprünglich einen effeminierten, sexuell offensiven Mann (siehe Homosexualität im Römischen Reich). Beim Symposion war der Kinaidos oder Kinaidologos insbesondere im hellenistischen Alexandria des 3. Jahrhunderts v. Chr. der Vortragende derber, sexuell anzüglicher Verse, die als Kinädenpoesie bezeichnet werden.
Im neueren Sprachgebrauch bezeichnete „Kinäde“
- den beim homosexuellen Analverkehr passiven, das heißt penetrierten Partner,[1] oder
- einen Päderasten.[2]
Bekannt wurde der Begriff insbesondere durch Bismarck, der die Berater Wilhelms II. als „Kamarilla der Kinäden“ bezeichnete; siehe Harden-Eulenburg-Affäre.[3]
