Kit Thomas ist ein US-amerikanischer Film-, Fernseh- und Musikproduzent.

Als Musikproduzent produzierte Thomas über sechzig Musikalben der Genres Jazz-, Pop- und Weltmusik Er trat 1985 in die National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences. Er war dort acht Jahre Mitglied des Board of Governors und leitete siebzehn Jahre das für die Ausstrahlung der Grammy-Award-Zeremonien zuständigen Ausschuss.[1]

Als Film- und Fernsehproduzent wurde er ausgezeichnet. Für Burning Down Tomorrow wurde Thomas 1991 für einen Oscar für den besten Dokumentar-Kurzfilm nominiert.[2] Er wurde 1992 als Produzent der Disney-Channel-Sendung Spaceship Earth: Our Global Environment mit einem Emmy Award ausgezeichnet.[3]
