Lex Legion ist eine internationale Supergroup. Sie besteht aus vier Mitgliedern eines King-Diamond-Line-ups Ende der 1980er zusammen mit Pete Blakk (Pagan’s Mind).
Bandgeschichte
Lex Legion wurde zunächst von Schlagzeuger Mikkey Dee und Gitarrist Pete Blakk gegründet, die beide bei King Diamond in den 1980ern gespielt hatten. Später kamen Andy LaRocque und Hal Patino hinzu, die ebenfalls dem klassischen King-Diamond-Line-up von Them und Conspiracy angehörten. Da King Diamond als Sänger ausfiel, nahmen sie Nils K. Rue von Pagan’s Mind in die Band auf. Musikalisch ist die Band von klassischem Heavy Metal wie Iron Maiden und Accept, progressivem Metal wie Queensrÿche sowie natürlich King Diamond beeinflusst.[1]
Die Formierung der Band wurde im März 2026 bekannt gegeben. Als erste Single erschien Sleep Eternally.[2] Die Band wurde schließlich von MNRK Music Grou unter Vertrag genommen. Ihr selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum erschien am 12. Juni 2026.
