Die Mathews Tuya ist ein Tafelvulkan im nördlich-zentralen Teil der kanadischen Provinz British Columbia.[1] Er ist einer von sechs Tafelvulkanen in der Nähe des Tuya Lake; er ist teilweise vergletschert. Eine Argon-Argon-Datierung ergab ein Alter von etwa 730.000 Jahren. Der Vulkan besteht hauptsächlich aus palagonitisierter Tephra (Tuff, Lapilli-Tuff, Tuff-Brekzie), doch finden sich an seinen Flanken auch einige Dykes und verbackene Lavaströme. An der Spitze befinden sich immer noch flachliegende Lavaströme, die ausgestoßen wurden, nachdem der Tephra-Pfeiler über einen ihn umgebenden See hinauswuchs. Weitere Vulkane im selben Gebiet sind die Tuya Butte, die South Tuya und der Ash Mountain. Die Vulkane in der Region bilden einen Teil der Northern Cordilleran Volcanic Province.
