Microtopsis ist eine Gattung mariner Krabben mit zwei Arten.[1] Sie besiedeln die tiefe Gezeitenzone (subtidal) und den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 15 und 90 m im zentralen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax wird bis zu 3,6 mm lang. Die Platte zwischen siebtem und achten thorakalen Sterniten erstreckt sich bei Männchen über die seitliche Hälfte des freiliegenden Sternums, aber nicht bis zur Sternopleonalhöhle. Die Unterseite des Merus des Scherenbeine trägt eine Reihe kleiner Höcker. Das erste Gonopodiums ist kurz und verdreht. Das zweite Gonopodium ist nahezu so lang wie das erste.[2]
