Lage

Molompize liegt am Alagnon, etwa 58 Kilometer ostnordöstlich von Aurillac. Nachbargemeinden sind Auriac-l’Église im Norden, Massiac im Nordosten und Osten, Bonnac im Südosten und Süden sowie Charmensac im Westen und Nordwesten.
