NGC 1568 ist eine linsenförmige Galaxie vom Hubble-Typ S0/a im Sternbild Eridanus am Südsternhimmel. Sie ist schätzungsweise 201 Millionen Lichtjahre von der Milchstraße entfernt und hat einen Durchmesser von etwa 65.000 Lichtjahren. Gemeinsam mit PGC 15034 bildet sie ein gravitativ gebundenes Galaxienpaar.

Das Objekt wurde am 2. Oktober 1886 von Lewis Swift entdeckt.[4]
