NGC 2247 ist ein Reflexionsnebel im Sternbild Monoceros südlich des Himmelsäquators. Das Objekt wurde am 14. Februar 1857 vom irischen Astronomen R. J. Mitchell, einem Assistenten von William Parsons, entdeckt.[3]
