Nannotheres moorei ist eine Art der Krabben aus der Familie Pinnotheridae und einziger Vertreter der Gattung Nannotheres.[1] Sie besiedelt den Schelf in Tiefen um 43 m in der Karibik und ist ein Kommensale bei Hammermuscheln der Gattung Malleus.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis 1,5 mm lang, etwa genauso breit und bei Weibchen nahezu kugelig. Die Palpe des dritten Maxillipeden ist zweigliedrig, sein Propodus kürzer als der Carpus. Die Schreitbeine sind einander ähnlich und schlank, die Finger einfach und einander ähnlich. Das zweite Schreitbein ist das längste.[2]
