Notopoides ist eine Gattung der Krabben mit einer rezenten und fünf fossilen Arten.[1] Die rezente Art besiedelt den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 148 und 645 m im Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax wird bis zu 40 mm lang und hat keine seitlichen Dornen. Der erste Somit des Pleons ist so breit wie der Hinterrand des Carapax. Der Oberrand des Propodus der Scherenbeine hat weder Dornen noch Kiele. Die Schreitbeine sind unterschiedlich groß.[2]

Systematik

Die Gattung enthält nach Gary C. B. Poore, Shane T. Ahyong zwei rezente Arten.[2] Das World Register of Marine Species[1] weist nur eine Art aus:
