Pangbourne ist ein Ort und Civil Parish (Gemeinde) in England. Er gehört zum Unitary Authority (Distrikt) West Berkshire der Grafschaft Berkshire. Im Jahr 2021 zählte Pangbourne 3277 Einwohner.[1]

Geographie und Ortsbild

Der Ort liegt am rechten Ufer der Themse, etwa zehn Kilometer westlich von Reading. Bei Pangbourne führt die Whitchurch Bridge über den Fluss hinüber zum Ort Whitchurch-on-Thames, der bereits in der Grafschaft Oxfordshire liegt. Die Schleuse Whitchurch Lock befindet sich etwa 50 Meter flussaufwärts der Brücke. Südlich der Schleuse, am rechten Flussufer, mündet der River Pang in die Themse.

In Pangbourne besteht ein Haltepunkt der Eisenbahnstrecke Great Western Main Line, die von Bristol und Bath über Reading bis London zum Bahnhof Paddington führt.
