Paratergatis longimanus ist eine Art der Rundkrabben und einziger Vertreter der Gattung Paratergatis.[1] Sie bewohnt den Schelf in Tiefen zwischen 60 und 127 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik sowie in der gemäßigten Klimazone des Nordwestpazifiks.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 12 mm lang und 1,7- bis 1,8-mal so breit. Die Regionen sind nicht erkennbar. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit drei niedrigen Lappen bewehrt. Die Außenfläche des Propodus der Scherenbeine ist glatt. Die Schreitbeine (P2 bis P5) sind lang und dünn, ihr Merus ist etwa dreimal so lang wie breit. Der Oberrand des Merus trägt einen dünnen Kamm.[2]
