Ein Pardau (Pardao) war eine Silbermünze, die in Portugiesisch-Indien im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert geprägt wurde. In Diu wurde die letzte Münze 1859 geprägt, in Goa 1868. Die Münze wurde 1726 als Halbstück der Rupia eingeführt.[1] Diese Münze galt als Rechnungs- und Umlaufmünze.

Ein Pardau entsprach in Goa 300 Reis und 160 bis 200 Reis in Portugal. Der Pardau wurde mit dem Xerafim (plural Xerafins) gleichgesetzt und hatte außerdem den Wert von 5 Tangas.[2]
