Der Pastaukopf oder Pasterkopf ist ein 1326 m ü. A. hoher Berg am Westrand der Chiemgauer Alpen. Wenig nördlich des Gipfels verläuft die deutsch-österreichische Staatsgrenze zwischen Bayern und Tirol.[1]
Pastaukopf, Kranzhorn und Kienberg bilden zusammen eine kleine Berggruppe an der Grenze zwischen Tirol und Bayern. Die Gruppe wird im Westen vom Inntal, im Südosten vom Trockenbachtal begrenzt. Der Pastaukopf im Osten wird im Gegensatz zum Kranzhorn über dem Inntal selten bestiegen.[2] Unterhalb liegt jedoch die bewirtschaftete Hintermairalm.
