Pilotis (frz. maskulin, dt. Pfahlwerk) ist in der modernen Architektur die Bezeichnung für eine offene bzw. sichtbare Pfeilerkonstruktion des Erdgeschosses. Der schweizerisch-französische Architekt Le Corbusier führte den Fachbegriff ein, den er in seinen cinq points erläuterte.[1]
