Pulcratis ist eine Gattung der Rundkrabben mit zwei rezenten Arten.[1] Sie bewohnen den Schelf und den Kontinentalhang in Tiefen zwischen 50 und 400 m im westlichen und zentralen Indopazifik.[2]

Merkmale

Der Carapax ist bis zu 14 mm lang und 1,4- bis 1,5-mal so breit. Die Oberfläche ist glatt, die Regionen sind kaum erkennbar. Der vordere Seitenrand ist mit vier breiten Lappen bewehrt. Die Außenseite des Propodus der Scherenbeine weist eine seichte netzförmige Vertiefung auf. Die Schreitbeine (P2 bis P5) sind lang und dünn, ihr Merus ist etwa dreimal so lang wie breit. Der Oberrand von Merus, Carpus und Propodus weist einen scharfen Kamm auf.[2]
